At Louth Self Storage we always put the health of both our customers and our team first while supporting the many people and businesses in our local community that rely on us for their storage needs.
As per the government advice, self-storage stores like ours will remain open as we provide an essential service to many key supply chains that are necessary in the battle to contain the spread of COVID19. We also provide storage for the many businesses that continue to operate, such as online retailers, schools, people in construction, trades, accountants and other professional services. We understand that many of our customers will continue to need help at this time, both existing customers and others who find themselves in need of essential storage during the many challenging situations being created by the COVID19 pandemic.
Self-storage stores do not attract large amounts of people, but we have made further changes to ensure social distancing. In most cases only one person will be in the same room or area of the store at any one time. We are advising customers where possible to minimise visits in accordance with the government restrictions on travel. They should observe social distancing and hand hygiene in line with government guidelines while in store. We have also increased our cleaning and sanitising programme on the surfaces used by customers. These measures, if observed correctly, should ensure risk of transmission is minimal.
These are challenging times so if you have any questions please contact us. We are open for those that need us.
4 weeks and thereafter on a 4 weekly basis.
This is a common question. Our outdoor containers have been modified to double the number of air-vents which helps to circulate the air and reduce dampness. Unless you store something that is already wet (like a tent for instance!) you should not have a problem with damp. Indoor units are clean and dry with no risk of damp.
Unfortunately no.
You need to let us know 14 days before you are going to vacate your unit.
You will need:
The first 4 weeks storage at the outset.
A refundable deposit of £95.
Key deposit £25 (for outside containers only) repayable at the end. (we supply a high security padlock)
2 forms of ID. Your driving licence/passport, and a current (last 3 months) utility bill
In addition, you will also need your own padlock (we can supply these if you want).
You have to have content protection while storing goods at our facility. The protection we offer covers you on a new for old basis and costs just £3.50 per week for up to £2,000 worth of goods stored.
